Condolence reference held for late journalist Mazhar Rasheed Misson
Chanigoth(rural Pakistan): A condolence reference was held in canal rest house , which was organised by Chanigoth Press Club in the memory of the late journalist Malik Mazhar Rasheed Misson founder president Press Club Mubarakpur & Coordinator RMNP who passed away in Saudi Arabia on 21st June.It was chaired by the President Rural Media Network Pakistan (RMNP) Ehsan Ahmed Sehar while leading religious scholar Pir Syed Muhammad Shah Jarar was the guest of honour.Late journalist’s son MueedurRasheed and younger brother Qaisar Rasheed were also present on this occasion.
Journalists of Chanigoth besides former Chairman Union Council Mehar Muhammad Siddique,Vice Chairman Chaudhry Khalid Gujjar,Tehsil General Secretary PML(Q) Abdul Majid Mahand, leader Markazi Anjuman-e-Tajran Rana Muhammad Farooq and leading personalities attended the condolence reference.In his presidential address,President RMNP Ehsan Ahmed Sehar paid glowing tribute to Mazhar Rashed Misson for his three decades services which he had rendered in defending press freedom in rural Pakistan .He announced to give “RMNP Sadiq Press Freedom Award” to late Malik Mazhar Rasheed Misson acknowledging his courage and dedication to his profession.
In their speeches President Press Club Chanigoth Shahid Bahir Anjum,President Ahmedpur Press Club AhmedpurEast Rafique Safdar Rajput, Deputy Secretary General Ahmedpur Press Club Hameedullah Aziz and others lauded the professional approach of the late journalist. They also threw light on different aspects of his life and appreciated services rendered by late Mazhar. Later a collective prayer was also offered for the eternal peace and rest of the departed soul of late Malik Mazhar Rasheed Misson.
