PFUJ concerned over channels’ closure in Karachi
ISLAMABAD: Denouncing closure of a channel in Karachi, Pakistan Federal Union of Journalists (PFUJ) Sunday asked Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) to seek pardon for this illegal act within 24 hours.If it fails to say sorry, the press clubs and media organisations will organise protest demonstrations against it, PFUJ stated.PFUJ President Muhammad Afzal Butt and its General Secretary Khursheed Abbasi have warned that if MQM does not seek pardon, the journalist fraternity will not only boycott the ceremonies arranged by MQM but will stage protest outside venues of the ceremonies as well.
