RMNP to Hold Training Session on Local Journalism, Ethics and Technology in Uch Sharif on 27 October

Uch Sharif, Punjab: Rural Media Network Pakistan (RMNP) will hold a training session titled “Strengthening Local Journalism Skills, Ethics and Technology in the Digital Age” on 27 October 2026 at Al-Abbas Marriage Hall, Uch Sharif. The session will be conducted by Prof. Dr. Muhammad Shehzad Rana.

The training is being organised for members of the Journalists Alliance Pakistan (JAP) Rural & Town Press Clubs South Punjab Chapter and other invited journalists. Certificates will be distributed among all participants.

The session aims to strengthen the professional skills of rural journalists, promote ethical reporting practices, and improve participants’ understanding of technology and the changing demands of journalism in the digital age.

Arrangements are being made by Irshad Ahmed Shad, Chief Organiser, and Muhammad Ejaz Khan Pathan, President, Uch Sharif Press & Media Club, in collaboration with Digital Daily Nawa-i-Ahmedpur Sharqia.

More than 200 rural ,regional journalists and district correspondents from across South Punjab are expected to attend. Uch Sharif Press & Media Club, which is registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP) and is an affiliate of RMNP, will host a luncheon in honour of the participants before the training session.
