After 12 years, a suspect has been arrested in the murder case of Pakistani journalist Shan Dahar, following an investigation by Free Press Unlimited and Safe Journalism.
Dahar, a senior reporter and bureau chief for Abb Takk News in Sindh, was shot in 2014 while reportedly investigating the illegal resale of donated medicines. For years, the case was marked by serious flaws and inconsistencies in the official investigation.
