TV journalist AD Shar murdered in Khairpur, Sindh

Khairpur :Unidentified assailants brutally murdered Hum News correspondent AD Shar in Thari Mirwa and dumped his body on the Handiyari Link Road in Khairpur, reported on Thursday.Slain TV journalist was associated with Hum News for 7 years.

According to initial reports, residents spotted the body and immediately informed the local police. The police then shifted the body to Thari Mirwah Hospital for medical examination.

SHO of Thari Mirwah Police Station, speaking to media, confirmed that AD Shar was killed with a sharp-edged weapon.

He said a post-mortem is being conducted to ascertain further details. “We are investigating the matter, and more facts will be known after the autopsy report,” he stated.

Sindh Home Minister Ziaul Hassan Lanjar took notice of the incident. A report has been sought from SSP Khairpur. The Sindh Home Minister said that the investigation should be made effective and successful by securing the crime scene and making available evidence.
