RMNP condemns the targeted killing of television reporter Shahid Zehri

Rural Media Network Pakistan (RMNP) has strongly condemned the target killing of private TV channel Metro News 1 reporter Shahid Zehri in the Hub area in Balochistan province on 10th October ( Sunday night)and demanded of Balochistan government for the immediate arrest of the culprits. RMNP also offered its condolences with slain Shahid Zehri family and colleagues.
According to the reports, the blast took place in a car near the police station in Hub on Sunday night, in which 35 years-old ill-fated journalist Shahid Zehri was present along with his colleague. Hub police informed that two blast victims were rushed to the Civil Hospital Hub, from where the critically-injured journalist was shifted to the Karachi Civil Hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.
Banned Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) through the social media claimed the responsibility for the attack, saying that the reporter was spying on them. The reporter’s funeral prayers was offered in Hub today (Monday).
