PFUJ condemns murder of Anwar Khetran in Barkhan
ISLAMABAD (ENNS) Pakistan Federal Union of Journalists (PFUJ) has condemned the murder of social activist Anwar Jan Khetran in Barkhan district of Balochistan and have demanded immediate arrest of those involved in his killing.
In a joint statement, President PFUJ Shahzada Zulfiqar and Secretary General Nasir Zaidi criticised the government for not providing safety and security to journalists. They have urged for a probe into the incident through a judicial inquiry.
Khetran was known for raising his voice for oppressed people of the area.
Quetta correspondent adds that according to local journalists he was also citizen journalist and a political worker.
