International Day to End Impunity for Crimes against Journalists, 2 November,2025

Press freedom & training organisation, Rural Media Network Pakistan (RMNP) will observe “International Day to End Impunity for Crimes against Journalists” on 2nd November 2025 in collaboration with Digital daily newspaper Nawa-I-AhmedpurSharqia.
A seminar titled” Impact of Amendment  to the PECA  Act on Freedom of Expression and Journalists in Pakistan” will be held in local hotel situated on National Highway to mark this day. It will be chaired by RMNP President Ehsan Ahmed Sehar. This was announced by Coordinator Hameedullah Khaz Aziz Deputy Editor digital Nawa-I-AhmedpurSharqia  in a statement issued here today. This seminar will be attended by leading journalists, different press clubs heads and academics,, he added. RMNP will also distribute UNESCO Resource Material about the Safety of Journalists and Investigative Journalism among all participants.
