RMNP President pays rich tribute to Director Information for implementing fair and transparent distribution system of the government advertisement to regional press

Bahawalpur: Director Information Muhammad Tariq Ismail said that public Relations Department would remain engaged with the Rural Media Network Pakistan (RMNP) in imparting trainings to districts correspondents in the far-flung areas of Bahawalpur division. He gave this assurance to President RMMP Ehsan Ahmed Sehar who called him in his office today .This meeting lasted for more than two hours which was also attended by Deputy Director Public Relations Department Bahawalpur Nasar Hameed, Deputy Director Public Relations Lodhran Nauman Masood Khan, Accounts Officer Jam Ghulam Asghar and Head Establishment section Fazal Mehmood .

RMNP President exchanged views  with new Director Information regarding  training needs of district correspondents while rural journalists and regional newspapers issues also came under discussion. Director Information Tariq Ismail categorically stated the doors of his office are open for the journalists community of Bahawalpur division without any discrimination. He informed that apart from the regional directorate public relations office Bahawalpur, district public relations offices at  Rahimyarkhan and Bahawalnagar were functioning regularly and providing maximum facilities to both print and electronic media journalists.

Ehsan Ahmed Sehar paid rich tribute to the newly appointed  Director Information Government of Punjab Mr. Tariq Ismail for arranging fair and transparent distribution of government advertisement to regional newspapers. It is pertinent to mention that Mr. Muhammad Tariq Ismail had attended  RMNP World Press Freedom Day seminar on 3rd May 2017 in district press club Bahawalnagar when he as Deputy Director Information Bahawalnagar along with Chairman Municipal Committee Rao Muhammad Salim Akhtar had presented  RMNP Sadiq Press Freedom Cash Award  amounting PKR 50,000 to President Press Club Bahawalnagar and Correspondent ARY Digital Muhammad Ahmed Chaudhry which was conferred on his late father Gulzar Ahmed Chaudhry former District President Press Club Bahawalnagar & Correspondent English leading Daily Dawn Posthumously.
