South Punjab’s female journalist Sadia Kamal elected as senior vice president National Press Club Islamabad
Islamabad: Ms Sadia Kamal hailing from South Punjab elected as senior vice president National Press Club Islamabad.She is the first female Seraiki speaking journalist who got this distinction.Earlier she served as news caster in Radio Pakistan and anchor person in Rohi TV channel .She also remained associated with PTV,Institute of educational Technology(IET) of Allama Iqbal Open University,K2 TV channel and NGO PODA.Ms Sadia Kamal played a key role in the implementation of IMS financed media programme of NGO ROZAN Islamabad. Currently she is working with official news agency Associated Press of Pakistan (APP) as anchorperson & reporter
Ms Sadia is resident of AhmedpurEast where RMNP is based.President Rural Media Network Pakistan (RMNP) Ehsan Ahmed Sehar has congratulated Ms Sadia Kamal on her electoral success and termed it an honour of the journalists fraternity of South Punjab.He hoped that as elected senior vice president National Press Club Islamabad,Ms Sadia Kamal will perform as press freedom advocate and will contribute to the promotion of freedom of expression.
