RMNP to conduct two journalists’ training programmes in Ahmedpur East and Uch Sharif
Training programmes scheduled for October 22 and 27
AHMEDPUR EAST: Press freedom and journalists’ training organisation Rural Media Network Pakistan (RMNP) has announced two training programmes for journalists during October, to be held in Ahmedpur East on October 22 and in the historic town of Uch Sharif on October 27.
Ahmedpur East training on October 22
According to a press release issued by RMNP, the first training programme will be held on October 22 in Ahmedpur East for members of the Journalists Alliance Pakistan (JAP) Tehsil Press Clubs and the Ahmedpur Union of Journalists Workers (AUJW).
Uch Sharif programme for 14 rural and town press clubs
The second training programme will be organised on October 27 in Uch Sharif for members of 14 Journalists Alliance Pakistan (JAP) Rural & Town Press Clubs affiliated with the South Punjab Chapter, along with selected members of AUJW and JAP-affiliated Tehsil Press Clubs of the South Punjab Chapter.
JAP South Punjab Chapter to provide beneficiary lists
The JAP South Punjab Chapter will provide the Rural Media Network Pakistan with the lists of beneficiaries for both training programmes.
The press release clarified that RMNP is neither inviting applications for these programmes nor selecting the trainees. The participants will be identified through the beneficiary lists provided by the JAP South Punjab Chapter.
