Senior journalist Ilyas Warsi found dead in Hyderabad
HYDERABAD : Senior journalist and former vice president of Hyderabad Press Club Ilyas Warsi was found here on Saturday at his flat in Al-Raheem Shopping Plaza.
According to initial reports torture signs are visible on his body and head that means he had been murdered. He has been working with Sindhi daily Kawish since last two decades.
Police sources said , an unknown armed man entered the house of the renowned journalist Ilyas Warsi and tortured him to death.
The police have started its investigation into the matter on the directives of the Sindh IGP Dr Kaleem. It has also been revealed that that attacker has also left a murder note at the crime scene.Meanwhile President rural Media Network Pakistan (RMNP) has condemned the horrific incident and demanded a free and fair inquiry of the matter.
