Rs2 million grant for press clubs of merged KP districts
PESHAWAR—Mehmood Khan, Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, approved a grant of Rs2million for the press clubs of merged districts of the province.
Special Assistant to CM KP on Information, Ajmal Wazir said that the promise made to journalists of merged districts had been honored.
He said more measures would be taken for the development of journalism in these areas.
The journalist community has welcomed the government’s move terming it a positive development.
