RMNP WPFD Round Table on May 3 in Mubarakpur

Rural Media Network Pakistan (RMNP) is celebrating World Press Freedom Day on 3rd May 2018.A round table will be held in Press Club Mubarakpur in collaboration with Bahawalpur Union of Journalists and Press Club Mubarakpur on 11 AM.

President RMNP Ehsan Ahmed Sehar will chair this round table and will share RMNP annual press freedom report in Urdu language while Director General UNESCO message will be read on this occasion.Central Vice President (PFUJ) Ameen Abbasi, President Bahawalpur Union of Journalists A.Majeed Gill ,President Press Club Mubarakpur Mazhar Rasheed and presidents and general secretaries of different press clubs along with press freedom advocates will express their ideas regarding “Safety of Journalists in General Elections 2018.” This round table will adopt resolutions and recommendations which will be submitted to UNO, UNESCO ,Election commission of Pakistan(ECP)and Ministry of Information & Broadcasting Government of Pakistan for necessary action.
