PTV, ARY acquire ICC media rights for 2020-23
ISLAMABAD PR – Pakistan Television Corporation Limited (PTVC) and ARY Communications Ltd have acquired the ICC Media Rights for the 2020-2023 (broadcast and streaming) from Star TV Network. This will include all ICC events for the next 3 years for the territory of Pakistan. The ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2021 shall be broadcast on PTV Sports, Tensports and A Sports.
Pakistan Television Corporation Limited, the state broadcaster, and only terrestrial CnS network in Pakistan has also picked up the streaming (digital) rights in partnership with ARY Digital Network and sublicensed them to Daraz, Pakistan’s largest e-commerce portal.
