Prime minister unfollows Hamid Mir on Twitter
ISLAMABAD – Prime Minister Imran Khan has unfollowed prominent Geo News TV presenter Hamid Mir on Twitter.
Urdunews.com reported on Monday that Khan followed 19 people through his Twitter account and Mir was one of them. However, that number is now down to 18.
The newspaper quoted Mir as saying it was an honor for a journalist to be followed by a politician when he was in opposition and to be unfollowed after coming into power.
Mir said that the prime minister was not willing to accept that there are restrictions on the media.
