PFUJ condemns fake cases against journalists in Sindh
ISLAMABAD—Pakistan Federal Union of Journalist (PFUJ) has strongly condemned the unwanted behavior of Sindh Police, particularly Khairpur and Kashmor, which is engaged in lodging fake, concocted and fabricated cases against Journalists of these districts.
PFUJ President Shahzada Zulfiqar, Vice President Lala Asad Pathan, and Secretary-General Nasir Zaidi, in a joint statement, urged the Sindh Government and IG to look into the situation where police are harassing working journalists in Gambat Panu Aqil and other areas.
They said Sindh police are initiating the cases at the behest of some politicians and powerful ministers, and the situation needs immediate probing.
