Mubarakpur Press Club Inaugurated

Prince Bahawal Abbas Khan Abbasi has said that journalists of Bahawalpur always supported restoration of Bahawalpur province movement and he expects that in future they would play their positive role as the real sons of this soil.He was addressing inaugural ceremony of Press Club Mubarakpur which was chaired by President Rural Media Network Pakistan (RMNP) Ehsan Ahmed Sehar.

Prince Bahawal Abbasi urged the journalists to highlight education,health and water issues in media which are long standing problems and not yet resolved.He hoped that Press Club Mubarakpur will not only facilitate local journalists but it will be a useful platform for the promotion of the freedom of expression in Mubarakpur town and its adjoining rural areas.He informed audience that he started his mass contact campaign by attending journalists community conference in Chanigoth.Princ Bahawal Abbasi informed journalists that he would keep close liaison with all press clubs of the region to seek guidance from them in resolving burning problems of these areas.He congratulated Press Club Mubarakpur office bearers for setting up press club in this backward town and assured his full support in future.Earlier President Press Club Mubarakpur Mazhar Rasheed Misson presented welcome address while PPP senior leader Malik Mumtaz Hussein,Patron AnjumaneTajran Barat Hussein Naqvi ,Journalist Faraz Hussein and others delivered their speeches.They welcomed Prince Bahawal Abbasi mass contact campaign and demanded him to join active politics.President RMNP Ehsan Ahmed Sehar expressed his happiness over the unity journalists of Mubarakpur and hoped that all press club members would play effective role in defending press freedom.Later Prince Bahawal Abbas Khan Abbasi inaugurated press club by cutting the ribbon.
