Journalists attacked allegedly by land grabber’s accomplices
ISLAMABAD — Senior journalist Mateen Haider and some of his colleagues were attacked and beaten up in Sector E-7 Friday evening allegedly by accomplices of a notorious land grabber.
According to reports the journalists had gone there to condole a death in an acquaintance’s family when they came under atatck. The assailants threatened to kill them.

It was not immediately clear what promoted the assault.
Haider in a tweet said the gunmen were accomplices of Hamza Bari, who also arrived at the scene.
The incident was reported to the police, who reached the spot and collected evidence. They later registered an FIR and made three arrests.
