Journalist Salahuddin Haider passes away

KARACHI—Journalist and former President of Karachi Press Club Salahuddin Haider has passed away.

Former Secretary General Pakistan Federal Union of Journalists (PFUJ) Amin Yousaf, in his Facebook post, paid tributes to the late journalist. In response, Editor-in-Chief Pakistan Observer Faisal Zahid Malik informed that “He was regular writer for Pakistan Observer and worked as a Diplomatic Editor in Karachi.”

Haider also served as minister for information in Sindh from 2002-2007. He traveled to different parts of the world for covering various international events. He also covered several international sports events, including cricket and hockey world cups, Asian Games, and Olympics.
