Editor Anis-ur-Rehman still missing, police reluctant to register FIR
ISLAMABAD—Islamabad Police are reportedly unwilling to register an FIR for the missing editor of Nawa-e-Waqt Group’s magazine Nada-e-Millat.
Anis-ur-Rehman visited the Saudi Embassy in Islamabad on Tuesday for whom he used to do translations from Lahore. He went missing later that evening.
Reports say Rehman’s friend Sajid Shah has had to run from pillar to post to have the FIR filed but all in vain. He has tried hard to seek help for the editor’s recovery.
Shah had complained to the Secretariat Police about Rehman going missing on June 10.
