CEJ conducts Open House for prospective MSJ students
KARACHI — The Centre for Excellence in Journalism (CEJ) conducted its second Open House on Thursday where prospective students from various backgrounds attended the session to learn about the Masters in Journalism program.
Dr. Lawrence Pintak briefed the attendants about the 1.5-year MSJ program, the curriculum being offered and why it stands out among all the other programs of its kind in the country.
“You are going to be future of Pakistan; the skills you will learn at CEJ others in newsroom won’t have.”
The students also had an interactive Q&A session with Dr. Pintak.
Lecturer Shahzeb emphasized how the industry has changed in the last five years and why the skills the students will learn in the MSJ will increase their employability and their value in newsrooms.
