AUJ (Workers) Ahmedpur East Subdivision Formed

Office-Bearers for 2026 Elected Under the Guidance of Founder-Patron Ehsan Ahmed Sehar

Ahmedpur East (By Hameedullah Khan Aziz) — Journalists of Tehsil Ahmedpur East have formally established the Ahmedpur Union of Journalists (Workers), Subdivision Ahmedpur East, electing its office-bearers for 2026 in a representative meeting chaired by senior editor and educationist Muhammad Suleman Farooqi.
The union has been launched and the elected panel announced by its Founder and Patron-in-Chief, Ehsan Ahmed Sehar, who has been the driving force behind uniting local journalists and strengthening professional representation in the region.
According to the announcement made by Ehsan Ahmed Sehar, the newly elected office-bearers are as follows:
Muhammad Suleman Farooqi – Patron
Syed Sarfaraz Hussain Zaidi – President
Hameedullah Khan Aziz – General Secretary
Irshad Ahmed Shad (Uch Sharif) – Chief Organizer
Ahmed Ali Chaudhry – Chairman
Shabbir Ahmed Qureshi – Senior Vice President
Zahid Baloch, Muhammad Yousaf Ghani Qureshi, Malik Rashid Mahmood Channar, Malik Zulfiqar Ali Makool (Uch Sharif) – Vice Presidents
Khadim Hussain Shaheen Lashari, Shah Wali Khan, Muhammad Jameel Mahmood – Additional General Secretaries
Jamshed Iqbal Bhatti – Secretary Information
For the Executive Council, Ijaz Ahmed Khan Advocate, Muhammad Zubair Farooqi, and Malik Muhammad Sajjad were elected.
During the session, a resolution was unanimously adopted expressing full confidence in the central leadership of the Pakistan Federal Union of Journalists (Workers), including Chairperson Dr. Sadia Kamal, General Secretary Anees Haider, and all central office-bearers.
