Journalist Hassnain Shah murder case: Main accused arrested
Lahore: Crime Investigation Agency (CIA) have arrested main accused Aamar Butt from Jail road in the murder case of Hassnain Shah Crime Reporter Capital TV Channel Lahore. According to the sources, CIA have arrested three accused in the murder case with the help of CCTV footage. A jewelers group, who had a dispute with the slain journalist Hassnain Shah, was involved in the murder.
Hassnain Shah was shot dead outside Lahore Press Club on January 24. Ten bullets hit his chest and neck, killing him on the spot. He was a resident of Madina Colony, Baghbanpura Lahore. Slain journalist is survived by two children and a widow.
The funeral prayer of slain senior crime reporter of Capital TV channel Hasnain Shah was offered in front of Lahore Press Club on Tuesday. A large number of journalists and members of civil society attended the funeral prayer. President Lahore Press Club Azam Ch, Secretary Lahore Press Club Abdul Majeed Sajid and members of governing body of the Lahore Press Club also attended the funeral prayer. He was later laid to rest at a local graveyard.
