Sahiwal, Pakistan: The Government of Punjab has appointed Grade-19 officer Tariq Ismail, a widely respected and experienced public relations professional, as Director Public Relations, Sahiwal Division. Prior to his new assignment, he was serving as Director Public Relations, Dera Ghazi Khan Division.
A native of Bahawalnagar District in southern Punjab, Tariq Ismail has held several key positions in the Punjab Information and Culture Department, including Director Public Relations, Bahawalpur Division, Director Coordination DGPR Punjab, and Deputy Director Public Relations, Bahawalnagar.
During his tenure as Director Public Relations, Bahawalpur Division, Tariq Ismail introduced a transparent and equitable mechanism for the distribution of official government advertisements. Under this system, regional and local newspapers received government advertisements on a fair and equal basis, setting a positive benchmark for transparency and strengthening regional journalism in Punjab. His initiative was widely appreciated by media organizations for promoting fairness and equal opportunities for the regional press.
Rural Media Network Pakistan (RMNP) has congratulated Tariq Ismail on assuming charge as Director Public Relations, Sahiwal Division, and expressed confidence that his integrity, professionalism, and extensive administrative experience will further strengthen the Department of Public Relations.
