Journalist Malik Zafar Iqbal Naich shot dead in Tranda Muhamad Panah district Rahimyarkhan, Pakistan
Tranda Muhammad Panah: Two unknown persons shot dead journalist Malik Zafar Iqbal Naich near Motorway Police Beat 22 office Tranda Muhammad Panah,Tehsil Liaquatpur district Rahimyarkhan. Slain journalist was 45 years old. He was correspondent of Urdu & Newsagent of Daily Khabrain Tranda Muhammad Panah. According to details Malik Zafar Iqbal along with his hawker picked Khabrain newspaper bundle from Chowk Chanigoth at 5.30 a.m. and started its distribution, when he reached near Motorway Police Beat 22 office ,all of sudden two unknown motorbike riders fired eight bullets from his pistol which claimed his life. Tranda Muhammad Panah Police removed the dead body of journalist Malik Zafar Iqbal Naich to hospital for autopsy. As per postmortem report, the ill-fated journalist received six bullets and he died on the spot. Later on Malik Zafar Iqbal diabody was handed over to his heirs. It is pertinent to mention that slain journalist Malik Zafar Iqbal Naich was a resident of village Muhammad Wah Mauza Ahmed Naich of Chanigoth District Bahawalpur. He was only son of late Jan Muhammad Naich so Police recorded his cousin Muhammad Aqeel Naich statement for the registration of this murder case. The motive of this murder is still unclear. Slain journalist cousin Muhammad Aqeel Naich told RMNP that he has no enmity with anyone. Meanwhile Tranda Muhammad Panah Police Station have registered a case under section 302/34 PPC against two unknown motorcyclist riders on the report of slain journalist ‘s cousin Muhammad Aqeel
