World Press Freedom Day statement
The Committee to Protect Journalists extends its support and solidarity to the Rural Media Network Pakistan on World Press Freedom Day. We join with all of our colleagues in Pakistan – in the cities and the countryside – in calling on governments around the world to respect the rights of journalists and other media workers as they fulfill their duty of accurately and honestly reporting the news.
