Freedom of Expression, Freedom of the media, Freedom of Association, it are the cornerstones of development in most countries. If people can raise their voice, they also can raise issues that dont’ go well with development: corruption, authoritarianism, lacr of respect for social, economic and human rights.
We share across the world that we would say what we want. It is not a Western concept, or a Middle East concept not a Southern concept. It is nothing where we can use double standards. It is necessary
everywhere.”
